About the Authors

John and Beth met in the 1990’s in Spokane, WA. Our relationship officially started on the last day of a short-term missions trip to Venezuela, and we have been married since 2001. Over the years, God has blessed us with two girls and a boy. Southern California is now home and we enjoy the beaches, mountains, amusement parks, and any rain we can get!

We have always been avid readers and have grown into coffee connoisseurs and lovers of frozen yogurt. Though our kids love soccer and gymnastics, a favorite family pasttime is to have a "reading party" with library books, a warm fireplace, homemade muffins and our family nestled up against one another.

Beth

John serves as a pastor at Faith Bible Church and was part of the team that planted the church in 2003. He is a graduate of Whitworth College, The Master’s Seminary and received his doctorate from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. John is heavily involved in FBC’s Ministry Training Center and overseas missions.

Beth is a full-time mom who is kept busy by three kids. In the rare moments of peace, Beth disciples women, serves as a women’s speaker, and operates a small family photography business.

John still can’t believe she said yes more than 15 years ago…
